Sea Kayaking at Western Finland Archipelago

    Hei,

I do participate on a Sea kayak guide training program and on the first week of June we made our 6 days long open sea tour on the waters at Southwest Finland with total of 14 participants. We visited the Archipelago National Park which is a 500 square km area of pure nature with very little permanent habitants. http://www.outdoors.fi/destinations/...s/Default.aspx
We took a free boat ride to the lighthouse island of Utö, just on the very edge of open sea and paddled from there northwards. Most of the islands are free to camp, some restriction exists due the incubation period of the vast number of the seabirds. Even the islands are quite bare, on most I was able to find a spot to hang my hammock.

    It was so gooood week!

PS. Last weekend we were kayaking with our local club and my wife wanted me to sleep with her in a tent, not a comfortable sleep but good company.

Wow! Those are really beautiful sunsets from the hammock!
I have to ask, how cold is the water?

    Thanks,

The water was around 12/14 Centigrades. So fully suitable for a quick dip.
