You should be able to find reflectix near the home insulation area.
You should be able to find reflectix near the home insulation area.
That is what I was thinking. I looked all over the place. There was lots of pink stuff with paper on it and the foam boards, 1" and 2" it looked like.
I found some other stuff that was close over in the heat/air duct area.
I checked out the water heater insulation area.
I found Refectix on their website, but could not locate it in their store.
When looking on their website the stuff the have was not very wide. I think the 24" would be wide enough for my purpose. http://www.homedepot.com/Reflectix/h...&storeId=10051
I may have to order some online.

If you have a Lowes near you they have reflectix in various widths i just picked up a roll of for 15.00
I don't have a Lowes in my town, but there is one about 20 min away. I will stop in next time I am over there.
I did cut a 20x20" end off my zrest. Each panel, if you will, is roughly 5"x20" and weights approximately 1 oz. So the piece I cut off weights in at 4 oz. as one would expect. I think it is going to be just a little short for my legs, but maybe I won't notice it if it s in the footbox of my TQ.
I tried it out in he backyard and it was not a very good test as the temperature that night did not go below 74*. I just had it under my legs, top quilt was all over the place. Eventually I pulled the UQ to the side, kicked the pad to the sie, and stuffed the TQ over on the shelf and got some sleep. Not a good test.
I think I may be able to go with three sections of the pad as my feet stay close together when I am sleeping on my back. I am more of a side sleeper, but in the hammock I am getting better at sleeping on my back.
Taking that extra panel off will cut the weight to 3 oz., but I am thinking the reflectix will be lighter and I won't mind as much cutting it into.a custome shape. I also need to make a cozy for my cook pot.

I forgot to add that once you have the reflectix you can also make yourself a cozy for cooking.
Looking at both homedepot and lowes they both say that it is available in most stores on their websites. You might want. To call ahead to find out.
