Outhouse are open year round just not serviced, pack it in pack it out... hand pump should still be in service, I believe it was in service when I was there is past Jan...
The one at the campsite we used in 10' was locked up tight. Not sure if that has changed since then.

I never recalled the poopers open in the fall when we went, in fact i remember because it was a fast waddle into the woods when i got there. I also believe you still have to pay the trail head fee for parking your car when on the trail not the pull up site

Popper's are open because in jan when we went I recall using them and thinking boy I can't wait to pinch this one off so I can get back into the hammock.
