Best night I've ever slept

I wanted to hang outside to test out my new underquilt last night so I set up the Hennessy and strapped on the WL full legth and grabbed a fleece throw from the couch (and my little pillow.) Now...I've slept in my hammock plenty of times and I'm not sure if it was just that I had the perfect 30* angle, or the wind rocking me all night....but I remember thinking how nice it felt outside and then waking to my cell phone alarm going off. I also used ear plugs for the first time last night, but I seriously don't remember the last time I've slept that good.

Also....my co-workers think I'm a little "off" when I tell them I slept in a hammock in the backyard Does anyone else get that "this guy is kinda crazy" look when you talk about your passion for the outdoors?

Yes, my friends give me that "crazy look." They also ask me "aren't you scared sleeping outside by yourself?" I figure the critters will go for the garbage in the compost pile before they go after me.

If my friends didn't think I was crazy they wouldn't be very good friends now would they... Everyone looks normal if you stand back far enough... At least our hobby is healthy and doesn't hurt anyone...
