Was set to make 2 UQ's, having already made 2 with 1.1 ripstop shells,, Jumped on the Momentum bandwagon, major mistake, that crap is like trying to sew thin *** kitchen trash bags.
ended up throwing out 40.00 worth of the crap.
So what is the big thrill with momentum?? why do people use it over reg ripstop for UQ or topQ's ???

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Momentum. I made a TQ and UQ using M-50 and found it to be very easy to work with, quality material, weight saving and water resistant.

Also, to add to what Rabbit said. M50 is highly wind resistant which helps to prevent the wind from robbing the heat from your quilts. It's great stuff.

I can't comment on ease of use since I haven't sewn with it, but I do have a hat made with M90. It's lighter, softer, and more wind resistant than 1.1, but at a price for sure.
