I am going to put a space blanket (mylar) between 2 layers of 1.1 ripstop nylon to make a bridge hammock. Has anyone had experience with using a space blanket ? It seems that it would help to contain body heat.

Most likely you'll see a decent amount of condensation build up on top of the space blanket. It does help retain body heat...but it's also a vapor barrier and so your sweat will condense on the blanket, forming wet spots that then lose their insulative value.
There's a temp range where this tends to balance out...read the thread on vapor barriers and it'll help you understand this a bit better.
I use a space blanket between my HH and super shelter all the time and it works very well.
I've used a Grabber space blanket under my pad before in cold weather and been fine. I didn't have condensations issues down to the high 20's.
