    Iowa says "hi, it's hot out"

    Just found this site a week ago and am on my second DIY hammock. The first one I made last week was made out of some sale priced polyester suit cloth. Kinda heavy but the ripstop was not on sale at the time and it stretches too much. The second one I am making this evening is from 1.9 ripstop that was on sale. So I am looking forward to hanging it up this evening and giving it a try. BTW it's 98 degrees here and very humid. very uncomfortable when the overnight lows are in the 80s. UGH. Glad I am not camping in this weather.

    Anyways my kayaks should be here in a couple days. Looking forward to some river floating/hammock camping.

    Oh I also built the folding diy hammock stand. Great ideas on here.

    108* here in STL today and 95-100* or higher for the next 10 days at least. I'm glad I have a hammock in my nice cool basement!
