    6 months

This past Tuesday was officially 6 months sleeping in my eno, half a dozen or so times in the Snipe... It's been the most solid sleep I've had in years!! I've always had difficulty staying asleep, in the hammock I get good quality sleep without tossing n turning n waking every hour!
I think I've found my "forever" sleeping arraignment!
It's a big plus that my doctor wants me to sleep with my leg raised... No problem... I sleep in a hammock!

Welcome to the fulltimers club. Been at it for over a year now and have only been in a bed twice and then hurt until I could get back into my hammock the following night.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

I will say it again,,I get my best sleep in my Snipe,,its got to be cause its 11ft long,,but you can set a bomb off next to me. Only trouble is ,,when I sleep on my back,,I now snore,,and never did before. But I don't care about that, its the fact,,the minute I lay down and get in that sweet spot, I am out like a light. Hammock in the house rocks! Let alone backpacking. Screw the bed.

That makes my 29 nights in a row seem as nothing,BUT, those 29 nights have made a believer out of me for sure. I'm in the yard, whatever the weather, and so far it has all been good. Problem, tonight it is way warm, still 80+ at 11:00 PM, and forcasts for more and warmer nights ahead. I just have to rig a hang in the house, a shame to waste all that AC on my wife.Ha.

I've been sleeping on a DIY tablecloth for about 3 weeks now, I do love the sleep but haven't hit the best ever epiphany yet. Who makes the snipe? I'm about ready to buy a BIAS WW to see if the ripstop works better than the taffeta. I made a hanging spot in the house because I snored and was keeping my wife up! Now that I'm in the hammock sleeping mostly on my back I rarely snore at all!

Wilderness Logics makes the Snipe,,a very good pretty light weight setup. I am presently working on a DYI UL hammock setup 11' long and will see how it works before posting.

Someone just needs to make a bridge hammock that is wide enough for two. Maybe a queen size. Then my wife would be saying "okay now get your butt in the attic and put some braces in for the supports".

Let me update this thread by saying in about 3weeks ill have a full year of sleeping in my eno every single night! It doesn't seem to be a big deal to me anymore... Just natural. Then ill run into somebody that it totally bewildered by why I would ever want to sleep in a hammock for a night or two much less a year! I just tell them it's the most comfortable sleep I've ever had. Don't knock it till you try it...!
