That is too cool. And they have a contest where they are giving away free hammocks, to boot. My only complaint is that the contest is only open to adults who are 18 and above. Seems like the scouts themselves might like to get in on the action.

Nice work D. Keep selling the hammocks to the ground dwellers.
I did notice a few more hammocks at Scout Camp this year. (Your book was in a couple camps too.

Good article Derek. Glad you are getting some publicity as well as promoting hammock camping. If it wasn't for meeting Tom Hennessy at 2007 world scout jambo, I wouln't be writing this and still trying to find sleeping nirvana on the ground! Glad I am no longer on a quest for the ultimate sleeping pad!
