This summer I badly messed up my WBBB for the second time in twelve months. Both times it was my stupid fault.
However, both times Brandon "The Warbonnet Guy" quickly and efficiently completed the repairs at very little cost. He does good work.

Don't sit in it with a screwdriver in your back pocket.
First time, I hung on top of a briar shrub. Thought I had pushed it down low enough to hang free, but the darn thing attacked the bottom layer on my first night out, leaving two small 1/2" scars. At the end of my seven day trip, both scars had morphed into a huge rip across the entire bottom layer.Originally Posted by kayak karl

Second time, I jammed my zipper while trying to exit for a 3:00 AM "excercise walk." In my efforts to exit the hammock quickly in the dark, I pulled the zipper off its track. Later, while attempting to repair it myself at home, I split the zipper head in half.
Lessons learned? 1) If it's ripped, attempt temporary "repairs" to stop the spreading immediatly with duct tape, glue or nail polish. 2) If the zipper is stuck, send it back to Brandon. His repair prices are extremely fair.

Rule #1 in hammock camping...Empty pockets of all sharp objects prior to getting in your hammock. This is one of those mistakes you only make once
