    Finally.....

Got my Warbonnet Blackbird hammock, Mamajamba tarp and hammockgear underquilt. I actually got to sleep a few hours on the banks of Lake James on the 4th in the new hammock. But im itching to go on a overnighter with it, but its so darn hot. Is it October yet?? But the few hours of sleep i did get in the WBBB, was really nice, the trees where way to close together so the ridgeline had alot of slack in it. Thought i would just drop a line saying how excited i was about getting started with this hammock camping stuff, my poor thermorest will never get used now.

Glad you're enjoying it... For a few hours at least!
No worries... You'll be using the thermorest in a few months when it gets chilly!

I got some pics of everythink set up...I do have a couple of questions, first what does the line locks do on the underquilt exactly, i forgot to really study them before i took it down. Also how do most of you clean the sap off your lines and webbing, i used a wet wipe but seems like it still left a little behind. thanks
