Figured someone over here would benefit from the UQ more. $175 is a steal on the price of my Under Quilt.

Top Quilt is still spoken for, it's on hold pending receipt of funds.

I had both sold within 30 minutes of my first post but the party backed out.

I was all set to take the top quilt but once I added shipping to Aust, then got stung by the exchange rate it just became too much for me

    bump

    DIY parents of hanging progeny--
would not take much to turn this UQ into a peapod style setup for a pre-teen. Peapod dimensions : 114" long, 72" wide. UQ dimensions : 85" long, 60" wide.

    just a thought...

Was wondering if the underquilt works the same as the JRB Nest (without the slit of coarse)? I will be using it with a HHUL. How thick is it. I read that the top quilt was 1-1/2" and you had mentioned that it is the same. Maybe you should keep a couple of key camping pieces like this UQ. Never know if you will hang at a local campground for a weekend. Hope things work out for you.

The under quilt is built similarly to the top quilt but has a lot more down - 2" mesh baffle overstuffed to 2.75". Both quilts were modeled after JRB's regular non-slit quilts and thus hang the same. This under quilt is equivalent to something in between the Mt. Rogers and Katahdin large quilts from JRB except mine is lighter and has 900 down instead of 800.

Edit: I'd keep it all if I didn't need the money.

I know that feeling. I sold a Martin guitar (D28) some years back because I needed the money more than the guitar. I still miss that guitar... but I did what I had to do at the time.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

With that said, don't expect anymore price reductions folks. It's already a steal and if I can't sell it at this price, I'll be keeping it. I have more invested in the quilt than the present asking price.
