To buy Whoopie Slings, Or not to buy Whoopie Slings

Heyy, I've been starting to camp in my Eno Doublenest, and I absoloutly love it! I bought the Eno Slap Straps with it, and they work good, But I don't like the bulk...So I'm looking to slim down. I was reading up on suspension systems, and it seems Whoopie Slings are a big hit. Especially in the wieght/bulk factor. I want to know if thier really all that great? and what are some of the perks, and downers to them? ANY comment is appreciated!

    Thanks, keep swingin. HHanginrookie.

They don't stretch at all, so no readjusting after they're set. Length is super easy to adjust (no knots there). just add some polyester tree straps and some toggles. No downers for me. It's a clean, simple solution that I can set up easily even in full dark with cold fingers.

Yeah, I like mine as well. But I recommend making your own. It's cheap and easy to do, and you'll learn a valuable skill in the process (splicing rope).
