    IM on the way.

So where do you guys get your sil? Looks like Ed's price has almost tripled based on what's in the BlackCat instructions. The stuff I find locally (untreated ripstop) is only 3' wide.

Wow it did triple, I guess that's the end of the $4 sil.

Here is the materials section of the HF links page, it has many fabric suppliers. That way you can shop around/compare. You can also navigate there by choosing Links->Materials.

Good luck with your next project!

Here're today's prices. Looks like not many people carry wider than 60"

    Seattle Fabrics
    1.3 Sil 62" = $9.25/yd
    1.9 Sil Coated 60" = $8.50/yd

    Quest Outfitters
    1.1 Sil 60-65" = $8.95/yd (1sts)
    1.1 Sil 61-62" = $6.20/yd (2nds)

    OWF
    1.1 Sil 60" = $10.25/yd
    1.9 Sil 60" = $5.30/yd

    Rocky Woods
    1.3 Sil 56-60" = $7.00-$9.25 (varies by color)

    Thru-Hiker
    1.1 Sil 60" = $11.50/yd

Wow, I hadn't looked in a while. Wonder what the price increase is due to?

Oh, so they saw you coming and raised the prices just in time? How much more is Cuben than some of these prices? Has that gone up too?
