Man, I might just have to get that shirt. Wonder what the wife would think.

Rain pants, not a bad idea.

It was pretty funny when I bought it. I wrote a check and it had my phone # on it. My wife knew I was going to look but didn't know I'd bought it until the woman I bought it from called her. She was a seamstress and told my wife, "It didn't seem like your husband knew anything about sewing." When my wife confirmed it she said I can call her any time for help. Then she said, "I felt really weird selling a pink sewing machine to a guy." I told the ladies tonight (they don't know about the machine) that I'm secure. That was after the instructor looked at me and said, "Forgive me if I slip and say 'Ladies'."

Thats funny that you were sewing circles around the ladies. Although, me just being able to sew is better than what my wife can currently do.

I've tried to talk her into using (to work on gear ) it but she has no interest. She just rolls her eyes.
Sounds like my wife. No interest at all. However, she's already wanting curtains for the kitchen.

silnyl camo rain pants. or make them out of camo fleece and call them part of a hammock hammock sleep kit.

curtains for the kitchen is a wonderful variation of the stuff sack.. Especially since you don't have to seam the bottom closed. Although the little feminine moochers do tend to like ends that are the same length. If she gets too fussy tell her they have to be camo the next time.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

"Bless you child, when you set out to thread a needle don't hold the thread still and fetch the needle up to it; hold the needle still and poke the thread at it; that's the way a woman most always does, but a man always does t'other way."

power thread injecter, now that's funny!

Jax, make your pj bottoms out of silk and you can then use them to sleep in while in your hammock. They would be lightweight and keep you warm...

    Good idea!

I'm going fabric shopping after work. We'll see what JoAnn's has and I'll report back.
