The dog is a year old, and a complete goofball. The post I just made about the DD tarp has a photo of my friend and his dog.

So I'm guessing where we park our vehicles is close? So this'll be like a car camping situation? Unless you wanna go hiking of course..

Parking is where ever. The people who have taken the initiative to organize the important things (like food . or food,. or food <G>) do an excellent job.
The rest just happens. Parking is where ever. Early arrivals get prime choices. Late comers get what's left.
At first, you can park right near your hanging space. Later arrivals have to hike off into the woods a ways to find suitable treeage. This year, with the additional increase in attendance, there will be, no doubt, new problems which will be overcome. Just show up and bring a little patience and you'll have a great time.

Also some thought, With close to "100 people" this year; Hiking a bit into the woods is not a bad thing. Finding those "perfect trees" can sometimes be a challenge.
Good question Sparkfly88. Consider this my public service announcement on the issue.
I would ask that if you don't have a reason to camp near the common area that you make room for those who need to camp there. You can always drive all the way up and drop your gear before heading back up the road to park. By reason I mean camping with kids, tenting, heart conditions, bad backs or cooking mass meals on multiple days. I hope that helps. With over a hundred people attending, it's important that we all remain cognizant of the needs of everyone.
Also, please carpool where you can. While it has never been an issue in the past, there are car limitations on the campsite. Up to now they just haven't been enforced. Let's not give a reason for them to begin doing so.

Talking about carpooling, does anybody in Polk Co. want to hook up? I'm in Winter Haven.
Here is the hiking option I'm considering for Saturday's hike. Refer to the attached map. Buck Lake is where the (4) is circled.
We need to get back to Buck Lake before the group photo, so depending on what time we get head out, we could start at Alexander Springs (1) on the map, or where FT crosses County Road 445 (2) on the map.
Either way we hike back to Buck Lake. I'm hoping that we can convince a few non-hikers to drop us off at the starting point (they can use my car).
There's always the hike around the lake for those looking for a short trip.
