This 'winter' Florida has had was nothing more than two weeks of 40-50s from two cold fronts.

December 29 the temp dropped to 32 at Alexander Springs when we camped there for New Years. It did warm up quickly behind that front though.

My feet were UNcomfortably cold a few hours. That was my only cold spot but enough for me to want to make booties for this year. Now I don't have to, yet.

A big thanks and to those that gave up the spots near the bathroom in order for the families with little ones to be there. That made it easier for the parents as well. With good weather and same level of compassion, it should be nice for all.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Oh neat... There are showers there too?

    How bout showers?

I tend to have hard core itching problems with my scalp after two days of sweating.

I bought some dry shampoo to try out this weekend.

Sorry. No showers at Buck Lake.
Some folks make the short trip to nearby Alexander Springs to use theirs.

I can see where carrying that ratcheted suspension system could work up a sweat.

We've been having 60 degree temps the last couple of days with a pretty weekend predicted here in TN. But it can change quickly. There's a saying here in the mountains. If you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes.
But hey I promised I wouldn't bring the cold with me this year! In any case I'm bringing warm stuff. Florida 70 degrees feels colder to me than TN 70 degree.

Almost the same saying here in Florida, but more like "if you don't like the severe thunderstorms, wait a few minutes"

A front coming in on Thursday with some showers possible. Maybe, the cold will dip down with it and not stay up there with you. You may still bring it down but that's fine with me. Just not the 20's.
