So a Bridge hammock gives more sleeping options??

Reading the posts here and new to the site looking at the commnets on the Bridge .
I sleep on my side but also sometimes on my stomach?

So should I get the bridge ?? or are these sleeping positions availalble in a "clark or WBBB"

    Thanks

A bridge hammock gives one a much flatter lay than a gathered end hammock. That being said it makes stomach sleeping possible for some and side sleeping possible for most unless you want a full fetal position.

As to whether or not to get one, it is hard to say. The reason I went the bridge route was that I couldn't resolve the calf pressure issue with any gathered end hammock I tried (and I tried several). I would say try one out if you can and decide for yourself. Just as a note, notice how few bridge hammocks come up for sale on the forum. This can be taken two ways. One, there aren't that many people that have them to sell. Two, those that have them love them enough to not want to sell them.

    Cheers

Hamhocker sleeps on her back, side and stomach in her JRB bridge hammock. No way would she give it up either

Most of the current stock of bridge Hammocks are DIY, with the exception of JRB and the soon to be available warbridge. There aren't that many DIYs that I see put up for sale. Sometimes a Grizzbridge will come up, but thats a little peice of hammockforums and is likely why it's seen as a sellable item. Most DIYs just get "retired".

Yes, a bridge will allow you to add sleeping on your stomach to your options. I found in my JRB bridge that to sleep in a fetal position I had to sleep in the bottom 3/4's of the hammock. If I tried sleeping centered top to bottom in the hammock I felt too confined when I brought the bottom of my legs into the fetal position. YMMV I am 5'11" 180lbs. In a bed I slept stomach/side fetal most of the time. In the bridge side fetal. In the blackbird I sleep on my back most of the time with short diversions to side fetal and am wonderfully comfortable. In a bed I am never comfortable on my back. Hammocks change the game in so many ways. I prefer the extra space and storage of the blackbird over the JRB bridge. Both are wonderfully built and comfortable. You should spend some time in your black bird and see how it suits you. If you can't get comfortable, I would be surprised, a bridge will add more options as you have surmised.

I have a BMBH Bridge and yes i sleep on my side comfortably -either side. Others have tried it; liked it; and believe they can sleep on their stomach as well. Good luck whatever you decide.
