I loved and appreciate the rant on the trash and cylinders. Wish I had the time to catch up on the vids.

I've watched 12 of his videos so far and love them. Seems he's really enjoying it. The technical side of me wants to know more about his setup and how it seems to be working. What he likes and what he would change. Maybe he shows more of this in a future video or maybe he'll discuss it in more detail here. Either way, I'm still enjoying his videos.

Just finished watching the all the vids last night. Quite enjoyable, although my wife thought he was a little too excited about being that close to a bear. I'm actually surprised he's not carrying bear spray.

Thanks for posting this LoneOak! I posted something way back but it is confusing with the SnakeSession name here and Loner on Youtube.

Thanks also to everyone who watches or comments. Know it's a lot of vids but are a good length to watch a few on lunch breaks or whatever. Like they say on Tv mini series ads, 'It's a great time to get into it'.

Writing from Kent, CT. 723 miles to go!

I did a few vids that show gear and try to show a cool stealth campsite every now and then. LOTS of hammock campers this year!

    My gear...

Grand Trunk Nano 7 hammock that has really held up well, even when hanging off rock cliffs.

6ft Tree Huggers to whoopie slings to Dutch biener to 1ft continous loop (doubled for lengh).

Wilderness Logics Tadpole Tarp with half a snakeskin and whoopie slings and Zpacs Zline tieouts.

    Wilderness Logics 20* underquilt.

    Western Mountainering 32* Summerlite.

Nice light setup and has over 100 nights on it and works in different seassons and weather so far. A bug net would be recomended.

    - Oh yeah LoneOak, I tried hard to keep that trash rant video PG-19. LOL.

Later everyone! Loner (YouTube) aka SnakeSession (HF)

ps - sorry about spelling - it's 5:22 am and still loading videos!
Happy hangin! Jeff, aka Loner, aka SnakeSession

Great hearing from you "Loner2012AT on YouTube", been wondering which HF member you were! I've watched all of your videos and really appreciate your hiking style.

Hope you will get some high quality shoes long before you get to the Whites.
I said it you tube and I'll say it here - Your videos are worthwhile and so is your goal. HOpefully your funding issues are no more However, I am willing to help by funding some of the costs for some good boots and a couple pair of two-layered sock systems in order to keep you hiking healthy.
All i need is a paypal acct from you or the website address of an outfitter where I can leave a "Gift Certificate" for you.
Congratulations on your accomplishments, thanks so much for your videos!
