Awesome Hangs (Pic Thread)

I was tempted tp try and hang under that tree but the trunk was so thick i didn't think even the long HH treestraps would make it around!

That ones dead...it's ok to use ropes when their dead.

this is in my local national park, the Cuyahoga Valley. i took this from my hammock as the sun rose on my first hang and very first backpacking trip.

I didn't know camping was allowed in the park. Are there specific sites or were you stealth camping? Thanks for the info. Jimmy

The piney woods of East Texas. Believe it or not this is just out in the woods behind my parent's place. It's beautiful out there.

Well I guess it's Kinda Awesome Hang worthy. lol...At least to me it was pretty cool hang. Although, I wasn't able to hang the hammock at the beach, just the tarp. The Signpost had to much wiggle to it to trust it holding the hammock. Got a few odd looks but that was about it. Think in this day an age, not much surprises people.
But at least I got to hang pool side...

Was a fun trip to Duck, NC. Family had a blast.
