Ofuros, I am staying with some friends at Stinson park this weekend, gimmie a chance to look around and head back on my own at a later date. Any suggestions about where to head?

Neglected Mt...opposite Stinson Park where your staying on the weekend.
Mt May....Base camp at the reserve & head up for a day walk or overnighter.
Mt Maroon... Day walk.
Upper Portals....Follow the 4wd track past Mt May campground. Park at the end of the road. Day trip or overnighter.
Just past Cunninghams Gap...Stay the weekend at the creekside camp area & explore the short trails, waterfalls & lookouts.

Great photos guys.
iPhone photo, so not the highest res, but this was a fantastic location near a waterfall at Standing Indian Campground in Otto, NC this past weekend. I had to ford the stream and slipped on a rock, getting my shoes wet, but it was worth it. Let my shoes dry out on the bank while I napped/read a book before heading out. Was only a day hike. My WBBB is still an overnight virgin, but hoping to change that next weekend!
