That's what we always called them was walking sticks... To me a preying mantis has to have the little folded up hands and is usually greenish in color... This was dark brown with purple almost and looks like a twig except when i saw him he was crossing the path...

I listen to only Christian music... Now a lot of people hear that and think slow and old school songs... My mix that night was Lecrae, mercy me, mikeschair, mandisa, trip lee, jaeson ma... Just to list a few... I'm a music nut...
