    I don't use any. I feed the strap through each time.

    I use whoopies btw. If i had adjustable webbing i'd switch to the clips.

    one thing not mentioned is that if using hardware there is no reason to disconnect the straps from the hammock. Clip in one end string hammock out to the other end and clip in. Adjust the buckles for sag angle. Leaving - Unclip and start stuffing the end of the hammock. straps do not get left behind. Worst case lose a clip and use the stuff it through the loop or pull through a loop and drop in a marlin spike equivalent.
