My first real Thread Injector DIY

Made a summer TQ with some IX I got off of Mrprez and some 1.5 ripstop I had sitting around.

    Drawstring footbox, 48 X 76, 11oz.
Single layer IX, 48 X 60, sewn into the head end, sandwiched between the 1.5
Footbox is just single layer of ripstop

Hoping it'll buy me 20* of warmth when the nights get cool, looking to use it into the low to mid 50's hopefully.

How does it breathe... I have been thinking about a top quilt... And insultex looks nice... But they say it is a vapor barrier and therefore not good for top...

Yet to be tested, but I'll let you know.

I have used a piece by itself without the ripstop, and it definitely helped to keep the chill off, didn't have any moisture issues.

The first of many projects, I'm sure!
Don't forget to test all new items in the backyard (or near the car)!

It's looking good! I've made a few IX UQ's for friends and they love what it can do.
