I asked my buddy, DeadReckon to help me confirm the position of the so-called Miller hollow, Well, there is no Miller Hollow in that part of the Deam, it is actually called Jone's Hollow.
As soon as Al mentioned the name I knew it to be correct, so, going West from Terrell Pond we will drop into the beautiful Jone's Hollow.
I am hoping to take a day hike into it on Friday with anyone who wants to go, and if it's suitable, go there for Saturday nights camp. As I remember it it is very beautiful and once had an Artisan well flowing out to the ground.
I hope we can at least consider it as Saturday night's camp. For anyone coming in on Saturday, we can make plans to meet you at the Pond and help you find it. Also, if you go to the POND and walk West you will fall right into the hollow. You can also take the spur on the North or South of the hollow and walk it down into the hollow.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
Sounds great I'm in.
I'm thinking the "shortcut" going east would be a better way into Jones Hollow for a day hike.
Topo
Mule, are you thinking something like the yellow trail on the attached map? I think camping there Saturday night sounds like a plan. Maybe we could hike out to the southwest along the teal trail to Sycamore trail out on Sunday if anyone is interested.
I am currently planning on hiking in Friday morning sometime. If anyone would like to meet at the trailhead and hike back let me know. (I do know where we are headed if anyone is unsure.)
Can't wait to see everyone!

Dang - I'll be showing up Thursday and have to leave Sat. morning.
OK I will be at the parking lot at 11am on Thursday. Just look for the other guy in a kilt.
