    Good use of that part of the hammock you don't use.
    Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

    I've been thinking about doing that for a while. I'm glad someone took the initiative to do it before I tried to plod my way through doing it.

    Any issues with stuff not staying in it as you get in/out of the hammock? I imagine there's more action to this one than one attached to the ridgeline.

    I am taking it out this week to do some camping and more experimenting. I did notice that a fully ladened Nalgene does have a tendency of being tippy, but doesn't fall out. I just have to kind of quickly push it out of may way during the first weight sitting on the edge as I get in. When I'm in, my weight tightens the fabric and it stays wonderfully. All other lighter items stay securely and comfortably.

    I'll report more while out camping.
