    Selling Hammock Stuff

Is it just me or is it almost impossible to part with gear. I was going through some of my Hammock camping gear trying to see what I can part with to get some new gear and I found it impossible to find anything. I keep thinking what if I need this in the future. I feel that I have made a bond with all my gear and to get rid of it would be like getting loosing a small part of myself

    Is this just me?

thats probably the same excuses hoarders use. JK. ive got the same issue. my solution is to pawn my old stuff off on my girlfriend. that way when we go camping i can still use all my old stuff. shes happy because its all really good stuff. and im happy because when i upgrade something, i dont have to get rid of anything.

I have a really hard time parting with my hammock gear. My husband keeps telling me to downsize, but it is so hard. : I'm just glad he only knows about half my gear.

Well that would just mean more gear for me

And yes I as well hate selling gear even though I have way to much I could rig up 5 people with no problem. The only time I sell gear is to replace with same item but upgraded like quilts, 1.1 material to 7D material. Or gear I bout to test out and decided I like what I had or wanted something that was pretty much the same thing just a different manufacturer, like selling one wood stove to buy another.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
