BTW all you see of me on the video is my hands.
Wouldn't you sound funny with a sultry woman's voice?

I kind of disagree with this point. Mostly when I'm looking for tutorials on youtube for any of my activities, I rejoice at the find of a 3-5 minute video with some decent detail and explaination.

That said, I have some good video equipment and a computer with editing software and good processing abilities, so I think I'll do up a couple videos. If it's okay with you, I'll send them to you and you can start a youtube account like "Hammock Forums Tutorials" that way you can find them all under that one heading by just clicking on the "more from (name of user)" tab.

Any topics you want covered? I can do:
-pitching a tarp (stock HH and Speer Winter)
-general hanging of a HH ULB
-setting up an underquilt (I have a JRB quilt with their stock suspension system)
-using a bag instead of a topquilt
-(soon) I'll be trying Just Jeff's proposed method of ring buckles with a garda hitch for quick setup and I'll film that, or have it filmed for that matter.
-Use of clamcleat style tensioners for tarp
    -setting up and breaking camp
    -any suggestions?

I'm going to keep a word document with a list of topics that I see asked about, and I'll make a corresponding video to answer the question if I can.

Whatever you want to do would be much appreciated. The thing that has hindered this project the most has been the lack of video equipment. I got a camera at Christmas so as soon as some of can get together there will be some videos on their way.

Hanging a HH has been covered on the HH site and there is really no use filming the same thing again. Maybe some others can chime in and recommend what you should film first.

As far as the length, just do whatever you need to explain things. If that takes 5-10 minutes, so be it.

Sweet. I'll do one up on setting up a speer winter tarp (my newest piece of gear!). I might even do it up tomorrow.

Do you want me to set up a youtube account for the site then just upload it? If so, I'll just PM you the login info "HammockForum Instructables" sound good?

Have any of these videos been finished yet? I'm very excited about this series!

Not from me. I've been at college, and I just got home for spring break on Friday. I'll likely do one in the next couple of days because there's nothing to do.
