Looking like it'll be a good number. Hope you guys who aren't 100% can make it. If it's 100 degrees that late in September then Missouri will be a hurting place for sure!

I'm hoping they lift the open fire ban at state parks by then so we can share a small fire!

Is there a number on the size of the group allowed? That might be a concern. Certainly be nice if we get some rain so they life that ban.

Awesome! Looks like we'll have a good-size group!

I dont think there is a limit, but I will check into it. If anything, we can just disperse a bit. They allow wilderness camping anywhere 100 yards off the trail.

The website says the maximum at a site is 14 people. If we do actually have more than that, we can either disperse along the trail or split into two camp sites. I doubt we'll have an issue though.

Sounding good. Easy enough to disperse if we have to be great if we have enough buys to fill a spot. Let's hope that ban is lifted!

I'm stoked about the trip and looking forward to meeting all of you. Going to be rigging up the new Edge tarp suspension in the backyard today.

I start my thru hike of the ozark trail the following week, so if it is still this hot we will just change our name to Venus and call it quits!
If I didn't have Rush tickets already, I would be there for sure

If we can just get some rain and cooler weather, we might even catch the very begining of leaves changing

Looking forward to it. A few weeks after that I'm planning a 3 day, 2 night hike in Irish Wilderness. At that time in October the leaves should have started changing for sure; but if it stays this dry and hot they'll just go from dull green to brown...
