    Ward sewing machine

I picked up another sewing machine from Goodwill yesterday and I can't find much info on it. It's a Montgomery Ward Signature UHT J277E. I don't know when it was manufactured or any info on it but it came with several feet and other goodies for $10.00. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks

The one thing I know is that it needs oiled and probably lint cleaned out first.

My quick google search didn't turn up much. There were a few places that want ~$12 to download a close model's manual. It's probably a very nice machine.

Wow, "Monkey Ward!" I haven't heard that name in a long, long time. My parents always had their catalog laying around the house, right next to the Sears one. Good luck with the machine!

Most likely it was rebranded machine from a mainline manufacturer. In all probability it will be a good machine once it is serviced. I would say it be worth the investment.

I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Your welcome and hope you sew a lot of gear with it.
