Both would give you a real sweet machine.
That is one monster of a machine. 2000 stitches per minute. That's rediculous.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

Not for an industrial machine. Some industrial machine can get over 3000 stitches per minute. Imagine being in a factory sewing hammocks all day on a home sewing 800 stitch per minute machine, you would never sew fast enough to get the product out the door. Industrial sewing is very different than home sewing.

Wow! $600, man I want that. I don't have room for it though, and I already have a nice machine.

I was thinking I should actually figure out what my machine can do and see if I can do it. I know it can use 3 needles at once. It can overcast! Manual button hole. But not quite sure what else.

Wow, 2000 stitches per minute, multiplied by how many mistakes I'd be making trying to go full speed for a whole minute= some horribly bad looking equipment.

I'm not sure I'd even be able to tell what it was supposed to be when I finished.

I think I'll stick with the slower machines for now.

I noticed that when I go faster I make less mistakes. It is when I stop that it gets ugly, but I need to stop to replace my hand to keep the fabric steady. Hence the reasoning for a walking foot. I really should get one.

I've noticed that too, but only after I got fairly comfortable with my machine(s). There seems to be a "sweet spot" on the speed that lets me get much straighter with the stitching.
