Yea, the more the merrier. If we can get a good group of people to do this that would be great

'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain
Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
Lets do August 11th, we can meet people at the Hickory Creek Trail Head at 10 am, those of us in the Chattanooga area can car pool. From the Hickory Creek Trail head at fs 17/630 to the Conasauga River then downstream to the next trail head/end of the Conasauga River Trail is about 8 miles, lots of river crossing so this is not for you if you don't like crossing rivers. If we don't want to or can't shuttle we can do a round trip. The crossing are slick but not more than waist deep.
On us 411 going north from Chattsworth, GA, go about 5 miles, turn right on Grassy Street, cross rr tracks, bear right, look for signs for fs 630 Mill Creek Rd/conaksauga Lake, turn left go about 10 miles on gravel rd to intersection of fs 630/fs17, go straight to trail head. Grassy street is about 10 miles south of the Tn state line on us 411, turn left on grassy street, same directions as above.
