Just bought some Easton trekking poles

I signed up for the Clymb recently and they teased me last week that they'll have Easton products coming up this week. Starting today, they've got a bunch of Easton trekking pole models for 40+% off.

This is my first purchase there, so we'll see how it goes. But if you are in the market for poles, it's worth checking out.

(I'd post a link or whatever, but affiliate links and such make me feel a little dirty, besides, they are against the rules of HF, right?)

Speaking of HF rules, these poles would make good spreader bars on your next bridge.

I'm signed up on that site as well, they offer some sweet deals sometimes. Which poles did you get? I like the looks of the CTR 80 Vibrake poles, but really don't need to order another set of poles, given that I have two sets already lol

I got the CTR-60s, mainly because of the cork grips. I'm a sweaty guy on the trail, cork is nice for that.

Also, I can tell my wife I didn't buy the most expensive ones. LOL

That is great, I am also a member of the clymb but have yet to purchase anything from them. They have great deals. Keep me posted on how the purchase goes as I am always weary making purchases from websites like that.

I've purchased items from them several times and I can say that from the beginning their shipping was extremely slow, I waited as much as 3.5 weeks to get an item from them, however with recent purchases it's narrowed down to a more reasonable and expected time frame of maybe a week. The quality of the items seems to be just as good as any you would expect if you bought the same item on Amazon. Just to note however, that their specials aren't always the best price. They had the Brunton compasses on sale not that long ago and I found the same item on Amazon for about $10 less after shipping (from either site).

I saw these Easton poles but they are still more expensive than the Mountainsmith Rhyolite 6061 Trekking Poles someone else had recommended. I'm sure that these Easton ones are better quality but I'm also not in a position to purchase them before the sale runs out so I'll just hold out for the heavier ones

OP, if you could review them after you get them, that would be awesome so if they do go back up on sale (like items on Clymb do often) I may decide to purchase them.
