Greetings from the white sands of Pensacola Beach on the Florida panhandle. New to the forum, new to hanging. Gearing up for trips in Northern Alabama and the AT in North Carolina. Almost fully rigged but grateful for any advice and suggestions - particularly footwear. Thanks in advance for any insight and advice.

Welcome! You're in luck, Florida has one of the largest groups of hammock hangers in the world! We have our annual hang in the Ocala National Forest each year on MLK Jr weekend, you can read about that here.
