Webbing is good on BB, but buckles are not

Also Im not sure what you mean by limiting the shortest possible hang distance.
I have similar problem with those buckles. I did actually sell the BB which had those, and did keep the one with heavier different kind of buckles even thought it needs safety knot. Now I have a DreamHammock and there is a best possible buckle, easy to use and no need for safety knot and it is also light. My SB uses rings and they are easier to use than BB triangle buckles but they do need safety knot.

In whoopies there is only one point of adjustment in system 'the whoopie' and even that can not be adjusted to zero length. Then more must be added: Dutch hook is small but need some space around it so that it can be used, and the tree webbing can not be adjusted very precisely and it also adds few inches. These are all small additions, but in tight spot they sum up and sometimes it will be a problem.

Now that I think about it an adjuatable webbing suspension would be fine for this. And probably the best bet. But I still think it needs a ridgeline. Man I hope this comes out, I dremped about something like this, now it is happening before my eyes. I have to have one, enough said.

Me too! Funds are coming, but very slowly. I really hope we will get there before time is up.

We posted some more detailed product specs a few days ago. Check them out here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...k/posts/285040

We are currently 52% funded at $20,911, averaging over $1000 per day so hopefully we can keep up the momentum.

There are a few limitations with our current alpha prototype design. 1.) The width is far too narrow as a hammock (great as a bivy) which is an issue, so our production version will be much wider. 2.) We used 1.1oz ripstop nylon which is much to thin for bivy use, so we plan to beef that up and maybe also include a footprint option if and when we start selling online. 3.) The pole has been an issue on our simulated big wall climbs, I dropped the pole 80ft to the bottom of the route, bummer, all the more reason to include an adjustable ridgeline.

    Whoooo!!!

    This is getting exciting.

30 hours to go and only under 5.000$ missing.

I myself have invested more than I could afford.

    Check out the final sprint!

    I think it may succeed.
