    I'll report similar results with my HHDJ. As Bearbag said, the secret is to get the connection point higher off the ground. The trick is that they can't be too far apart, either, because the further apart they are, the higher you have to go.

    Having said that, my first hang was from a stand like that. It was enough to hook me, and it was enough for me to learn the basics.

    Thanks for the comments everyone, it sounds like I may not be able test hang with my existing stand, depending on the hammock I choose.

    I am looking at the clark-250 the wbbb and waiting to learn more about the ridgerunner

    Quick update I just pulled the trigger and ordered a 1.7DL WBBB. I cant wait to start hanging!!!

    tried to hang the BB fro, the stand today, you guys were correct my butt drags on the middle bar, I can not get it tall enough with this stand. time to think DIY turtle or dog stand
