govt computer... I'll check back at home... I've got to convince the wife why I need to not be home for 3-4 days to spend some time with complete strangers, but I'm going to try and make it... it sounds like it would really be a good time... maybe I can get her to meet us up there for the potluck and get together.
Anyone new to hiking the area can call the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and order trail maps over the phone. Or their web store is here. FYI, you can buy map only. It's cheaper than map and guidebook.
From website. . . For customer service, call toll-free to (888) AT-STORE (888-287-8673 for "smart" phones) during weekday business hours (9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern time) or, after hours, call and leave a message.

Hey everyone! Dutch has voluteered to do the Saturday morning pancake breakfast at the pavilion again! What a guy. Be green and bring your own plates, cups, and utensils and he'll feed you. Breakfast at the pavilion from 8 to 10 am. Thanks much, Dutch!

Great! Early Bird, I'm volunteering you to take care of raffle tickets and money again! That's what happens when you do a great job in previous years!
