Early registration is already at 22 + 2 dogs. 2 pre-hikes on Appalachian Trail posted. Pancake breakfast, Saturday potluck, raffle prizes, hammock tours, hammock gear, campfires, hanging verterans and hanging newbies, kids, and dogs. Yeah, another great time in the making!

I'll have to see if I can swing this. I'm waiting to hear of another October event that might conflict. I'll let you know when I find out. (and yes, I will bring both boys with me.)

I'm in, on the sheet. Wondering if there's any interest in a half day paddle trip, there are a couple places within firing distance on the Potomac. Shepherdstown for an up and back thing or Brunswick to Point of Rocks both come to mind.

Paddle trip! Excellent! You can add it to the Backpacking page if you'd like, which I plan to rename the Outings page! People can add trips to Harpers Ferry, local brewery, etc. to outings page. Or if you'd like to organize a gathering for a Sunday brunch somewhere local before you leave town for example don't be afraid to announce on outings page!

For any folks thinking about flying in from elsewhere, I am happy to provide a ride from Washington Dulles to the hang on Friday afternoon, returning to the airport on Sunday. I've got room for 3 plus your gear. Just send me a pm!

Won't know for sure if I can make it until mid September, but I might take you up on that if my buddies from the area are working.
