I thought this was the Blackbird bridge thread and I got excited thinking people were ordering the hammock.

    Congrat's!

    You made a wise decision

Woohoo, my order has been shipped today also! Wooobuddy....

Also glad that he uses USPS as they seem to be a day or two faster than the other shippers....and Saturday delivery! (which is when I think mine will show up)......just in time for the weekly campout in the backyard with my 3 yr. old daughter.... "daddy can I have more marshmallows?"

Man I am stoked to get inside my BlackBird! Should be a good weekend, have some Lash-It on it's way, gonna pick up some MSR Groundhogs, gonna sew webbing loops onto my Chinook tarp, and use the hand-dandy guyline lashing method that Brandon demos on his youtube channel...

    Whoobuddy....

Well, got my BB on Friday.....Did I mention before that I now love the USPS? Order shipped on the 1st, received package on the 3rd....woobuddy!

Unfortunately, no pics yet and not even a real hang yet....darn kids....

I am really impressed with the quality of sewing and overall design. I like the amsteel ridgeline, no worries about snapping that baby. The cinch buckles lock tight, in fact kinda hard to undo if you don't have any slack to pick up.

I was also glad to see that the amsteel loop (spliced) from hammock gather to the cinch buckles isn't unnecessarily long because my backyard hang spot is close to the minimum hanging distance. If the loop/cinch was any further from the gather, I would have to modify my backyard hanging method slightly.

    Thanks warbonnetguy!

Just pulled the trigger on my WBBB 1.1 double. Any guesses on the wait?
