Hello and welcome from murrells inlet sc. I've camped out at lake Murray. Beautiful camp grounds on the islands. Just an FYI all sc parks are hammock friendly so long as you use tree straps. I will start Planning a hang here on the coast this spring.

There is also the Palmetto Trail. They have several campsites around. I know just outside of Columbia there is the Peak to Pomaria trail that has one close to the Pomaria side (there is a sotre at the trailhead with good burgers).

Well, the Fall Sprawl is an annual event hosted by Rev. MBCruzin, host the Spring Swing over in Huntington Beach. I'm gonna be talkin with both of them about the possibility of kicking off a winter hang down here in Beaufort. However, stick around for a while, you'll find opportunities gallore.
