looking for a local source of webbing for bridge hammock

Hey guys, I am making a bridge hammock , and am looking for a source for webbing to use for the sides. I know alot of people use "strapworks"-----just wondering if anyone has found a local source for webbing that would work (home depot etc)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

Ask local phone/electric companies for mule tape. It worked well on my bridge and i got it for free from a friend who worked at the phone company.

My Walmart has half an aisle fo sewing and crafts. They had 1.5" grosgrain 12 feet for $2. In the past grosgrain I used was pretty thick and substantial. The WM stuff is thin. I think people use it to make ribbons for girl's hair. Still, I am using it for channels in an UQ.

Mule tape is a good recommendation, so do as PE said and hit up your local power company.

    Harbor Freight Straps

Maybe they have Harbor Freight in your area like we do here. The polyester straps are pretty light weight, but I don't care for the color choice (the color does fade quite a bit however). I felt bad about cutting off the hardware with bolt cutters, but it still was economically priced.
