    Lightbulb Hammock Comparison Chart

Here is a chart I made while researching which hammock to purchase. It doesn't cover 100% of available hammocks, just the ones I was looking at (includes over 20 hammocks). Weight limits are not included because I'm about 170- I wasn't too concerned. My goal was to find the a good starter kit for a decent price this season. Enjoy!

SN too small? I'm 6'1", 205lbs and I get a perfect diagonal lie. Whoopies, hammock RL. I've achieved the same lie from 11.5 feet thru 18.5 feet...

Yep the SN was too small... I felt too squeezed. Glad it could work for you. I've been enjoying a HH Explorer Ultralight.

Fine job of collecting all those stats and organizing them clearly!

Neat chart. Curious as to the length formula. Is that one you developed to determine your own comfort level?

@ DuctTape, I got that formula off HF somewhere... But yes it will help determine comfort level.

I asked because comfort is so subjective and there are many other variables to consider besides length. For example, using that formula I should not be comfortable in the hammock I use and should have one that is over a foot longer. Yet when I use a longer one, I don't care for it.
