I like all the vendors here and I buy from them all pretty much, but for the $$$ you have Wilderness Logics summer set top &bottom quilt for 280 .. email and ask if they can over night a set to you if you havent already..If they have them in stock i'm pretty sure they would..

$300 isn't much for both an UQ and TQ. Arrowhead Equipment has a synthetic 3/4 UQ on sale (until the 10th) for $80, maybe add a $200 3-season GoLite TQ (or a $150 1-season depending on what temps you'll run into).

If you want/need 3-season full-length down-filled everything, $300 isn't going to cover it unless you get a good deal from the For Sale forum.

If you're going to a warm area (lows of 50+), the aforementioned Wilderness Logistics $280 summer down TQ/(3/4)UQ combo is a good deal and will keep the weight down

Ok here you go did the leg work for you e-mailed Marty @ Wilderness Logics and here is his message "WE ARE MAKING BLACK SETS TOMORROW AND CAN GET A SET SHIPPED OUT
NEXT DAY. If you decide to go with this you will need to contact him to set it up...also this is just a suggestion by all means check out other vendors most of them will go out of there way to accommodate, I haven't had a bad experience yet.

Unless your going high or North it's pretty warm everywhere. I'd make do [sleepbag pad combo?] and take my time. I usually regret hurried decisions[ and I've made plenty].

don't need it overnighted. I get an anxiety feeling that it's possible to be backpacking while knowing there's a nice sleep system on it's way and not being able to use it LOL.

and thinking if i slow down alittle bit and think things thru deciding between wilderness logic and hammock gear

Arrowhead Equipment has a sale on right now and their products are top notch, as is their service. I've never been disappointed in anything I've purchased from them.

In the beginning I had a hard time choosing between all of the different vendors so I just bought stuff from most of them..and let me tell you it can get costly...Now I do alot more research before I purchase...
