NiteIze figure 9s for tarps

I am looking for some of the plastic figure 9s that NiteIze sells with their glow line. Anyone know a source of this?

I have some Figure-9 biners, they are too big. I want to buy some of Dutch's line locks, but at $15/2, it would be pricy to buy 12 of them.

I am a very capeable at tying knots, but really like the figure9s. Ideas?

I agree. I will use some plastic ones I have lying around for tie-outs, but for tying to the tree I use the metal ones.

And I also buy them from Amazon...

The 'tent line kit' has the plastic ones I do believe... $10 for four pack from many retailers... I prefer the aluminum ones myself, much stronger and more durable. I love those little things!

For cheap and easy, I use the tubing style tensioners like Just Jeff except I use a prusik on the tarp end for adjustment.

I also like being able to easily remove my lines when packed (OCD anyone?) so I use the #0 plastic s-biners to attach to the tarp.

The only thing I use the figure 9 for is the ridge line.

Thanks. I fully intend to get Dutch Tarp Flyz for the tarp suspension. But I want the plastic NiteIze for the pull outs. But I was looking for a way to buy them without the Glow Line. Eventually, I will probably just use a prussick or other locking slip knot like a midshipmans' hitch. Like I said, I like knots, but for speed and storage, the plastic figure 9s are like dehydrated gold.

But the prusik you only need to tie once and is far less bulky than a figure 9. I'd say that the prusik would beat the figure 9 in both speed and storage. (and be a lot cheaper, much less tangle prone...)
