Pam and I are in if at all possible. Mike, put us down as definate and include me in any campsite reservations. If work does get in the way, I'll send my $$$ for reservations to you anyway.
Haven't had time to read the thread yet, but we'll be in on any pot-lucks, etc.

I think that if we are going to do a Stone Soup meal, we should do it on a Friday night. With the Pot luck on Saturday we will have plenty of food. A Friday Night Stone soup meal might work better. Just my 2 cents.Originally Posted by Randy

I loved the soup last time. I'd support that idea again if others will. It was great both in flavor and volume.
In fact, if I recall, enough was made to feed not only all of us, but 2/3 of the population of Fairfield.
My only thought is that we may want to do that at a different meal than the Sat. night pot luck. Either a Friday supper to simplify things for folks arriving or maybe lunch on Sat or Sun.
Other thoughts?
I like the Friday night idea too. Another idea would be Sunday lunch - then leftovers could be sent home with folks if we do another 500 gallons like last time.

I am TOTALLY down! I had to leave early last year, but this year I'll make sure to stay through. Can't wait for this, it'll be my vacation!
