Continuing to work my 20+ hammock gift project for friends and family found me working the suspension components last week.

Readystrap was contacted to price out a couple rolls of strap material for the 40-60 straps planned for this project. Same day email response with great pricing along with suggestion to consider having straps pre-stitched.

Details of the project were provided, number of straps required, stitching method, loops, length and material planned. Again, same day response via email and a pricing offer that could not be refused. Order was placed.

Following the actual order being placed, a status update followed every day with project update and anticipated delivery date.

Total time from first email asking for pricing to actual delivery of completed straps? Less than one week!

Start to finish, it was a pleasure doing business with Readystrap and the customer service was outstanding. Something I have come to learn is the norm for the vendors here on HammockForums.net.

Now, on to the straps themselves...

Straps arrived via USPS and were individually packaged.

    Some of the straps.
    2 types, 1500lb and 3000 lb

Working load printed on label that is stitched to the finished end.
The 3000lb straps are rated to an 830 lb working load.
More than enough for even the heaviest of hangers.

These straps will be used on the "family hammocks" which are double layered 2.6oz/sq yd fabric intended to hold 1 adult plus children. Seems the kids enjoy "dropping in" on daddy's post lawn mowing recuperation time...or so my sister and brotherinlaw have informed me.

They will also be used for the college student hammocks anticipating, well, college related shenanigans.

The majority of the straps were 1500lb material rated at a safe working load of 375lbs.
More than enough for all intended single person hammocks.

Both straps are gripped tightly by the SMC descending/rap rings.
Something that has been an issue with lighter 1000 lb straps.

The lame chainlink will soon be replaced by a proper Amsteel continuous loop spliced on a cinch buckle.

Yes, both the 1500lb and thicker/heavier 3000lb strap are Dutchware compatible !

Dutch clip fully loaded with 3000lb strap.
    Dutchclip 7.5g
Camp Nano 23g (gold) and Camp Photon 29g (silver) for comparison.

    Readystrap 1500lb 12 ft finished length 82g
    Readystrap 3000lb 12 ft finished length 146g

Had my choice of diamond stitch or double box, went with the double box.
Notice the straps are folded back under at the loop.

Once installed, they will not fall off the cinch buckles easily. A bonus feature for he kids.

Plus 1 on Readystrap. Always a good experience working with Gary. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt. I trust my Grandchildren's hammocks to Gary's 3000# straps.

    Only mistake I made?
Not ordering the 40 cinch buckles at the same time.
Fortunately for me, Gary is shipping another package due here this week.

Glad you got them RD! I always wonder if large quantities of those thing will make it with no problems. I once ordered 24 climbing carabiners from a place out west and only got 3 of them in a wet plastic bag with a "Sorry about that! Better luck next time" letter from the post office. That's why I tape the crap out of all my boxes.
Thanks again for your kind reviews!

The first thing I noticed was the green crinkle one that he was making.
Then I think of my blue and brown one and go, Dang! Should have gotten the green.
