    Finished My First Hammock

Well, the stitching might not win awards but it hangs just fine. It's a double layer 1.4oz follage gray nylon from DIY Gear Supply with a whoopie sling and toggle suspension. I love the color and feel of the fabric. I just need to figure out what kind of toggles I want to use, in the pic I'm using screw drivers.

For fabric feel I have yet to find any hammock body fabric that I prefer over that particular fabric. Nice work!

Next question to answer: how much does it weigh? I just finished my single layer Jo-Anns 1.9oz rip-stop and it comes in just a hair under 18oz with the tree straps.

Now, I'm debating whether I want an attached or detached bug net. I'm leaning towards attached. Then I need to consider if I want it fully removable or not.

DIY is fun. I've got all kinds of options.

    I agree. On both points.

Screwdrivers?? I usually drink them, then fall into the hammock.

Good multi-purpose, put a regular screwdriver on one end and a phillips on the other.

    Good job on the hammy.
