Welcome from the west coast of Canada!

    Hi Barlutti,

I have a WBB 1.7 dl with a big Mama tarp and love the room. (I"m 6'2" and 230 lbs) I ordered directly from Warbonnet and it was indeed like Christmas in August. Great fun!

I'm in Victoria on the west coast...love Victoria but worked in Edmonton. Great City!

    Hi Coffeedrinker,

Very nice, I envy you, I love the island. Edmonton is great in the summer but winter... Actually heading out to vernon for a few months, anxious to try my new gear out there. Very impressed with the customer service at Warbonnet, Brandon has been super and sending me my "presents" asap
thanks for the welcome and look forward to the madness

    Hey Barutti

Welcome from another Edmonton hanger. I have the BB 1.1 double and love it. My tarp is the mamajamba.
There are some good places to hang around this area, and don't knock the winter. Once you get all the gear it's no problem. In fact, due to circumstances, I haven't hung since February.
Welcome again, I'm sure you'll enjoy this little club!!

not to hijack this thread, but have any of you edmontonians been out to
ft assiniboine lake, hubert lake or otter-orloff lake?
all of these are about 2 hours north of edmonton and wild land parks, so only backcountry camping.

thanks for all the welcomes everyone
In answer to the questions, no I have not been to either of those places, my only hang this year has been in saskatchewan actually 3 days at meadow lake. great time, but found the HH expedition too short for me. Looking forward to exploring new places around vernon and anxiously awaiting my gear in the mail
