Didn't get to see anything but clouds Saturday night and was too worn out from Honey-do's Sunday to stay up BUT lucked up and saw a big one and three smaller ones walking the dogs at 4:30 am this morning!

Myself and a few other guys were planning on watching it from Mount Baldy in AZ, but given we had backpacked 10 miles with 2k feet in elevation gain that day, by the time we got to camp, hung our hammocks, and ate dinner, we were all too beat to stay up and star gaze. I woke up at around 2AM and stared up from the hammock for about 3 minutes before crashing out again. Needless to say, I missed it.
Did it last night, then when I went to bed to cats kept waking me up, ahh bit of a grumpy morning might hang out with my daughter tonight and do it all over again. Colorado gets a fair amount of showers tho
the meteor shower was gorgeous from my backyard while hanging in my hammock! Much better then laying on the trampoline all night... brrrrr! Couldn't have watched that in a tent glad I switched.
