Get's very confusing, one says one thing the other says the opposite.

Would love to hear from Hammock Gear on this matter in why he recommends to fold and not stuff the cuben into it's pouch.
I've been eyeing a cuben tarp from HG and I'd like to know this too. I don't have any cuben gear yet so I don't know the material. But I'd like to use it the same way I use my current tarp (bishop bag).

only problem I have folding it,,is folding and creasing it the same all the time. I would think stuffing it and not creating constant same creases over and over would be any worse for wear myself. I have heard stuffing,,and folding, and this and that, and for that matter,,I am not sure that anyone really knows the answer for sure. Some people have had their cuben tarps for a long time,,and shows no wear no matter what way you do it also. I could also add,,,if you fold your cuben tarp, you have maybe 50 creases in it or maybe alittle more..if you stuff it,,you have 10,000 creases in it. Creases are creases,,which one is going to fail or create a abrasive spot in the tarp?

I roll mine up ..then fold ..then stuff it .. many many times..with no problems .. I have a bunch of stuffs sack made from the stuff ...roll top dry bags ..never had any problems ...while testing a prototype made from .51 .. I intentionally abused it ... without it failing .. Cubans Achilles is when it's sewn .. other then that ..it seems to just get better ..
